The PAIR-A-DICE CRUISERS at the Chick-Fil-A in nearby Clermont
The rains came and moved out fast which gave us a
beautiful evening for a cruise.
It was good to see our friends and their cruisers
again. Jennifer was out of town but Dusty filled in for her and did a
very good job of it. The PAIR-A-DICE CRUISERS also do a great job every
week and we want to thank them for all they do for the cruisers. Chick-fil-a
gives each cruiser a free chicken sandwich. Many more contribute to the
cruise and we thank each and every one of them. Rocky, who runs Chick-fil-a,
is very generous and considerate to the cruisers and all his patrons. He
is an asset to the community. We are proud to know him. Also our friend
Larry King does a great job arranging these events.
Tonight we had 41 cruisers that registered. Many
others just stop by for a visit and to see what is going on. We have not
missed a cruise here yet and we have seen many beautiful cruisers. A
special one tonight was a 1966 Honda SM600. This little 4 cylinder has 4
carbuerators and no intake exhaust, it is chain driven and gets 47 miles
to a gallon and it can reach speeds to 90 miles an hour. We spotted a
nice 1950 Black Olds. Also caught our eye was a 1963 Chevy Impala.
Wayne and Carol Greenwell who reside in Kings Ridge
stopped by with their 1938 Chevy Master Deluxe. This cruiser is purple
and has ghost flames. The interior is very well done in tan color with
Oakwood trim. so many beautiful cruisers that we can't mention them all.
you have to be here. We had our 79 T-Bird. Doug had his El Camino and
Bob with his Volkswagen Van.
Lou and Linda were our Cruiser of the Month for
August with their 1964 Red Chevy Nova Station wagon. Cruiser of the
month for September will be Dewey and Sue Harvey with their 1955 Chevy
Bel Air. We have a 50/50 which goes back to the cruisers. This cruise
happens on every second Saturday of the month in the beautiful hills of
Clermont, which we call home. Thanks to Chick-fil-a, Larry King and the
Pair-a-Dice Cruisers for a beautiful night of fun.
See you all next time around.
