August 9th - 10th
Tunbridge Wells Autorama
Ian Mahoney Reports
This is the 20th year of this show which
includes all types of transport through the age of motor vehicles. 450
vehicles were booked to attend over the 2 days but the great British
weather put a lot of people off attending with heavy rain on Saturday
and promise of more on Sunday! Despite this there was a very diverse
display of vehicles and it turned out to be a good show. This year is
the 60th anniversary of the Morris Minor, designed by Sir Alec Issigonis,
the designer of the Mini, and there was a very good display of these
very popular little cars.
