Clermont's Chick-fil-A. The Pair-A-Dice Cruisers show.
The
second Saturday of every month brings us to Clermont's Chick-fil-A. The
Pair-A-Dice cruisers are always there for the cruisers with door prizes,
and some fun games. As well as a 50/50 that turns out to really be a
100/0. Every
cent goes right back to those who purchase winning tickets.
Chick-fil-A always has free Classic sandwiches for the cruisers also.
And Elite car wash supplies coupons for free car washes. This month
Elite had one of their van trucks on display with signs proclaiming that
they would like our help in filling it with personal items for the flood
victims in Indiana. Here are some PICS.
We'll start with the co-cruisers of the month. Bob and his really cool
VW bus. And Bill and Doris with their really nice T-Bird. By the looks
of the "flag" display, Bill and Doris are well known at Old Town.

This gorgeous Ford F-100 sounded as good as it looks.

Dan's little Roadster is always a big hit.

This '62 Chevy with 409 crossed flags on the fender brought back a ton
of memories.

Here's two of a few plastic fantastic cars that showed up.

Yea Dude.......it's a HEMI !!!!!!!

The sign under the hood of this Marauder says, "Faster than a speeding
ticket."

This Girls Take Over, Gas Tires and Oil, Goat, GTO, or whatever you call
is what I call a fine looking ride.

A Boss 302 Mustang isn't something you see everyday in Clermont.

Another of my favorites. OK so I like AMC's.

Dennis and Donna had their black Chevy there.

This sweet little sedan shows up every month.

I'm not real crazy about 55-56-57 Chevys. But this one is the exception.
The Cruiser of the month for July Ken's fine example of "old school."

Normally Jennifer from WJBJ provides the tunes at the Clermont Chick-fil-A
cruise-in. But due to a prior engagement, it was my honor to try and
fill her shoes. And even though my feet are considerably larger, I think
there was lots of wiggle room left.

Jennifer you were truly missed. And everyone is looking forward to your
return next month.
Until next time. Be Safe,
Dusty
